Arsenal press conference LIVE - Mikel Arteta on Odegaard injury, Ramsdale return and West Ham
Hello, and welcome along to live coverage of the Arsenal press conference ahead of Wednesday night's Carabao Cup fourth-round tie against West Ham United.
Mikel Arteta is set to face the media this morning where he will be previewing the fixture under the lights at the London Stadium as the Gunners aim for a repeat result from round three when they beat Brentford 1-0 as that would seal a place in the quarter-final of the competition.
However, with Arsenal in Premier League action away at Newcastle United at the weekend, the Spaniard's team selection for the London derby will be fascinating as there is a debate among some supporters as to how seriously he should take the Carabao Cup this season.
Whatever Arteta decides to do remains to be seen. While he won't be able to call upon the injured trio of Jurrien Timber, Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey, he could hand Aaron Ramsdale a recall having favoured David Raya in between the sticks for Premier League and UEFA Champions League fixtures.
Meanwhile, there could be an update on Martin Odegaard. The Arsenal captain is dealing with a slight hip problem that caused him to sit out the 5-0 thrashing of Sheffield United and you can hear what Arteta has to say on this and all the other issues with football.london writer Tom Canton in the live blog below.

Suspension risks
In addition, to potentially handing a recall to Aaron Ramsdale, Mikel Arteta could also welcome Reiss Nelson, Trossard and Fabio Vieira back into the Arsenal starting lineup.
Although, as Eddie Nketiah and Ben White are the two senior players in immediate danger of missing a quarter-final tie in December - should the Gunners progress - could the threat of a one-game suspension hand Arteta somewhat of a team selection dilemma going into the London Derby?

Arsenal changes
Mikel Arteta shocked everyone by heavily rotating his Arsenal side for their Premier League clash with Sheffield United on Saturday.
And the Spaniard is expected to ring the changes once again at the London Stadium. While Arsenal would be among the favourites to win the competition should they progress following Manchester City's exit, it remains a chance for the Gunners to protect some of their most important stars as the Premier League and Champions League campaigns intensify.
