The midfielder shared a series of intimate snaps of the proposal to social media after popping the question.

Jorginho got down on one knee in front of a bed of roses, candles and lights displaying the question: "Will you marry me?"

A violinist could also be seen in the background of the loved up shots as the pair embraced.

Catherine stunned in a red dress, with Jorginho looking smart in a black suit.

The Italy international began dating Catherine in 2020 following his split from ex-wife Natalia.

He and Natalia were married for two years and have a son together called Jax.

Meanwhile, Irish singer-songwriter Catherine previously dated actor Jude Law and has a baby with the Hollywood star.

She also appeared on The Voice in 2020, where she was coached by Olly Murs before being eliminated in the knockouts.

Catherine has 37,600 followers on Instagram and regularly wows her fans with stunning snaps from her life.

The musician headed across London with Jorginho back in January after his move from Chelsea to Arsenal.

He has since made 34 appearances for the Gunners, scoring once.
