Arsenal considering making a move for Amadou Onana


Arsenal are reportedly considering making a move for Everton star Amadou Onana this summer, as per the transfer insider Dean Jones.



Onana to Arsenal

Fabrizio Romano has recently suggested that the Gunners are ‘advancing in negotiations’ with Everton to sign the 21-year-old and they have also been in contact with the player’s representatives in order to sort out the personal terms.


It has been suggested that having signed Onana last summer, Everton aren’t willing to let their star man leave for cheap and want a fee of around £60m if they are forced to cash-in. So, Arsenal will need to spend big to acquire the 21-year-old’s services this summer.


The youngster enjoyed a promising debut campaign in the Premier League last term, playing a key role in Everton’s survival. So, he could be a shrewd signing for Arsenal if they decide to sign him in this transfer window.


It is going to be interesting to see whether Arsenal eventually decide to sign Onana to beef up their midfield.
