Bukayo Saka
Saka starred in the Gunners' 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa at the weekend, but he was absent from first-team training on Monday. football.london understands that the 22-year-old winger was nursing a knock.
He has suffered several minor injuries this season, with one enough to sideline him in the north Londoners' 1-0 win over Manchester City. Given Saka's growing importance in the Arsenal starting lineup, Arteta has admitted that the winger's omission from training was simply a precaution.

What Arteta has said: "He is fine. With a few of them we decided to have another day recovery just 48 hours before and he has played a lot of minutes so it wasn’t worth exposing him."
Gabriel Martinelli

Thomas Partey
Partey has undergone a 'procedure' which is set to keep him out for the remainder of the year, football.london understands. Arteta recently provided a fresh update on the 30-year-old's rehabilitation process but did not make it clear if he will be fit to face Liverpool in their FA Cup third-round clash at the start of 2024.

What Arteta has said: "We don’t know [if Partey will be back to face Liverpool in January]. He’s getting a very good evolution in the injury, but it’s a bit early for the time frame.

Fabio Vieira
Vieira has been nursing groin issue and underwent surgery on the injury.
