PSV 1-1 Arsenal: Eddie Nketiah scores first Champions League goal as Mikel Arteta's men end group stage with battling draw against Dutch league leaders

Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw with PSV in a dead-rubber Champions League affair at the Philips Stadion - but it was an exciting game

Both sides were already through to the last 16 and the Dutch league leaders had the better of the chances and went close multiple times in the first half.

However, Eddie Nketiah put the Gunners ahead after 42 minutes with a well-taken finish, combining with Reiss Nelson to give the visitors the advantage.

Yorbe Vertessen levelled five minutes after the break and again created the better chances in the second half.

Jakub Kiwior had a goal ruled out in the last ten minutes after Gabriel was judged to have been offside and interfering with play from Martin Odegaard's free-kick.

Johan Bakayoko was a particular threat on the right flank for PSV and Mikel ARteta has food for throught after his side were arguably second best
