It has been claimed that Liverpool are very confident that they can sign Mohamed Salah upto a new contract at Anfield.

Salah notched 30 goals and 16 assists in 51 appearances across all competitions last term for Liverpool – but became disappointed after the Reds missed out on Champions League football.

However – Ekrem Konur has claimed that Liverpool are now confident of extending Salah’s contract despite the stratospheric sums being offered by the Saudi outfits.

Amid all the talk about Kylian Mbappe’s future, the Liverpool target himself spoke out about a potential transfer this week.

The France forward is out of contract in June 2024 and free to negotiate with foreign clubs this month as the French giants have been unable to agree a new contract with the attacker.

It is believed that Real Madrid are winning the race to sign the Frenchman at the end of the season, but there is a feeling that LIVERPOOL are one of the only clubs that could challenge the Spaniards for the Frenchman.

The France forward addressed the media this week and said he’s not yet made his mind up about whether he will leaving the French capital in the near future.

“”No, to start with I’m very motivated by this year,” he told reporters. “It’s very important. We have titles to win and we have already won one.

“I haven’t made my decision yet. I haven’t made a choice. With the agreement I had with the president in the summer, my decision is not important as we managed to protect all the parties and preserved the serenity of the club for the challenges to come, which is the most important.

‘So we will say that it [the decision] is secondary.”

Mbappe is a world class player, but he is not made for the Premier League and we are not sure that he even wants to come to the English game, he knows that the Spanish League would suit his game alot more

Mohammed Salah is tipped to leave the club in the next few windows, meaning that LIVERPOOL will need an immediate replacement for the man, but we are just not sure that Mbappe has the desire to play the style of football that Klopp demands at Anfield.
